Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled Workday Developer with a strong background in report development and data analysis to lead the migration of legacy reports from PeopleSoft to Workday.
- This role is critical in ensuring accurate data representation and actionable reporting across business functions, while collaborating closely with functional teams, IT, and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing reports in PeopleSoft and identify requirements for conversion to Workday.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday reports, ensuring accuracy, performance, and alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver meaningful data solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing Workday reports to reflect changes in business processes and data structures.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Workday reporting functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday reporting and data integrations.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and security policies.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of Workday business objects and their relationships.
- Proven ability to build and manage custom fields, including nested custom fields.
- Expertise in core custom field functions:
- Extract Multi Instance; Extract Single Instance; Lookup Related Value
Workday Developer
- Advanced experience in designing complex reports, including matrix and composite reports.
- Solid analytical and database background.
- Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Workday reporting or similar roles.
- Experience working with PeopleSoft reporting systems is a strong plus.
- Workday certifications are a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in technical English; strong written and verbal communication skills are a plus.
