Roles and responsibilities
- The incumbent of this role will be reporting to Design Head, working closely with the team that has expertise in designing chiller systems, both modification and new product development.
- Product Design & Development: CAD tools (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD), prototyping, and design validation
- Material Selection & Manufacturing Processes knowledge
- DFMEA / PFMEA: Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis for risk assessment
- Documentation & Compliance: Creating BOMs, drawings, and ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, CE, UL)
- Cost Estimation & Value Engineering: Balancing performance with cost-effectiveness
- Testing & Validation: Planning and executing product testing, reliability analysis.
Required Skills
- Should be an Engineering Graduate with Mechanical stream
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience as design engineer, in AC/Refrigeration Industries
- Candidates should have experience in SolidWorks/Inventor, Auto CAD, PDM/Vault (Option)
- Must Have: Material Selection and Component selection, CAD tool (Inventor/ SolidWorks, Auto CAD), PDM/Vault (Option)
- Should be less than 30 years of age
