Job Role
- This should be a more functional role for documentation/governance for the Cognos environment.
- The role will be to do research and thoroughly document each Cognos report and OLAP cube with a minimum of its Source location, all Report Views and their locations, source databases, DSNs and tables used.
Skillset
- This will require a sound knowledge on Cognos environment along with the Framework Manager model.
- Should have good knowledge in SQL.
- Should have knowledge on how to navigate and read SQL in many different DBMS systems from DB2 for ZOS, DB2 for i, LUW DB2, SQL Server, Oracle etc. using database tools.
- Good to have knowledge in Unix platform.
Location and Work hours
- Prefer candidates from both near shore and overseas teammates to build an “around the clock” team for this assignment.
- Work hours will be setup to where there is a daily overlap/turnover from one set of teammates to the next
