Senior Business Development Manager – Field Sales

 

Role Overview

  • We’re seeking a strategic Business Development Manager with  IT Product Sales experience, team management, excellent track record, deep knowledge of the Tamil Nadu education market and proven success in B2B SaaS sales.
  • This role demands extensive travel, strong relationship-building, and a consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive company adoption across schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu
  • Understand client needs and position Company as a tailored solution
  • Own the sales cycle from prospecting to closure
  • Build long-term relationships with institutional leaders and channel partners
  • Provide market insights to refine product positioning and outreach
  • Collaborate with presales, tech, and support teams for seamless delivery
  • Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and compliance

Required Skills & Traits

  • Looking for 5 to 7 years of experience in SaaS/IT Product Marketing (B2B preferred) with an MBA or equivalent
  • Strong field sales experience in SaaS/IT products
  • Deep understanding of the local TN education ecosystem
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
  • Willingness to travel extensively across districts
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting systems
  • Fluency in English and Tamil
