Job Description
We are looking for a minimum of 5 years of Golden Gate experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Golden Gate installation, replication, and implementation.
- Database Administration and Architecture along with experience in Golden Gate
- Administered Production Databases & have knowledge of different Oracle versions from 9i to 11g and golden gate.
- Any OEM support experience is huge plus.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Manager, RAC, Performance Tuning, Database Development
- Should have worked with tools like Remedy, Oracle Enterprise manager, Oracle Support
- Should accomplish on call support for Database during peak times & ready to work in 24/7 environment.
- Support Database upgrade &migration and perform production checks.
- Ensure availability and performance of All Production Databases
- Manage Database Operations support along with performance tuning & PL-SQL & Unix scripting.
- Work on incidents, service-requests and change requests from the user departments.
Required Skills
- Looking for a 5-8 Years of experience candidate in Oracle Data Integration space.
- Versed in various DBMS systems.
- Be able to read a data model and create SQL and SQL procedures.
- Excellent SQL skills are needed. (DB2 for ZOS, DB2 for iSeries, LUW DB2, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Well versed with at least a year’s experience in Oracle Golden Gate.
- Experience with Golden Gate to iSeries and ZOS DB2 would be helpful, but not necessarily a requirement.
- Understand basic Linux scripting. Experience using ANT tasks is preferred but not a necessity.
- Versed in API development.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
